Does your Fractional CMO understand Digital Marketing and Sales?
As a Fractional CMO I believe Sales And Marketing are everything.
Without them, you don’t have a business.
After being in and out of Tech/ Sales/ Marketing
for 20+ years, I can say the key to sales is what
I call The angle.
I could write a whole book on this.
But I’ll share the top tips with you.
The whole theme will be sales tips, tricks, and
strategies for massive success. But the main driver
is what I call “The angle.” This is the 1 key context
of common ground you establish with the prospect.
π Identifying the person who is the decision
maker and their motivation but also how you will
get in with them and specifically align in context and
establish common ground.
For example, I had 1 client where the angle was that
I knew them from working for a mutual business
associate and that was my angle in. Another angle
could be a warm Referral. Or a common interest in soccer.
Whatever the case is, before making that initial contact
you must identify “The angle” otherwise, it will be much
more challenging to close the deal.
